Art Games was just one class I had at DePaul, but it had such a large impact on me that I decided to devote an entire section to it. I was really pushed to design and develop outside of my comfort zone and take risks to make something new and great. Plus I got to make a lot of games!
Although now I usually find myself scripting level events or whatnot in C#, I still have spent a reasonable amount time with C++. On this page is a collection of some of my C++ Programming projects from various classes at DePaul.
I began my internship at Funkitron, a small casual game company, right after completing my undergraduate degree. At this point in my life I had practically zero game making experience. My role was mostly quality assurance, but my responsibilities grew as time went on. I communicated regularly with other team members to fix whatever issues came up. All in all, it was a good first exposure to the industry. Here's the company website: funkitron.com
